Goose celebrated Halloween with a sold-out concert at Mercury Lounge in New York City last Thursday and then opened for Pigeons Playing Ping Pong in New Haven on Saturday. The Connecticut-based quartet unveiled pro-shot video featuring a 42-minute segment of “Halloween Hits” from the run.

The members of Goose dressed in the gear of the Flint Tropics in an ode to the 2008 movie Semi-Pro as part of the “Netflox & Chill” theme. Goose’s Halloween show featured a mix of originals and a bevy of covers, most of which the band hadn’t performed before and are included on the Semi-Pro soundtrack. The band reprised a few of the covers in New Haven.

The sequence featured in the video below starts with the untzy original “Yeti” and continues with the Goose debut of “Get The Funk Out Ma Face” by The Brothers Johnson. Guitarist Rick Mitarotonda, multi-instrumentalist Peter Anspach, bassist Trevor Weekz and drummer Ben Atkind then dig in on one of their oldest songs, “Wysteria Lane” before Mitarotonda channels Patti LaBelle on a cover debut of “Lady Marmalade.” Goose’s take on Walter Murphy’s “A Fifth Of Beethoven” closes out the video.
