Goose Show In Frederick, Maryland Cut Short Due To Rain Storm

By Scott Bernstein May 4, 2021 7:09 am PDT

Goose‘s tour got off to an auspicious start when a big storm and the threat of tornados led to a late start and early finish on Monday. The quintet made the most of the situation and delivered a powerful set at Frederick, Maryland’s Showtime At The Drive In.

Last night’s hour-long performance was bookended by “Arrow.” The opening portion of the song led into “Bob Don.” Members of the band and their crew then took some time to towel off the rain that was soaking the stage and Goose’s equipment.

Goose followed the “Towel Jam” with the beloved “Yeti.” Next up was the first “Spirit Of The Dark Horse” since March 1, 2019. “Spirit Of The Dark Horse,” the lead single from the band’s forthcoming Shenanigans Nite Club album gave way to the end of “Arrow” to close the evening’s lone set.

The five-piece returns to Showtime At The Drive In tonight. A livestream is available via Goosestreams.com. Watch Goose’s “Arrow” opener from last night at the band’s Facebook page.
