On August 3, Ghost Light played a show at the TLA in the city that birthed the band, Philadelphia. Ghost Light released pro-shot video featuring their second set and encore from the performance.
The band – consisting of keyboardist Holly Bowling, guitarists Tom Hamilton and Raina Mullen, drummer Scotty Zwang and bassist Dan Africano – opened the second set in Philly with “Best Kept Secret,” the title track from their Best Kept Secrets studio album. Ghost Light segued from “Best Kept Secret” into “This Thing Ain’t Going Nowhere” before beginning a version of “Don’t Come Apart Just Yet, My Dear” that bookended the rest of the frame and included a jam on Radiohead’s “The National Anthem.” Included within the “Don’t Come Apart Just Yet, My Dear” sandwich were takes on “I Dare You,” “Diamond Eyes,” “What Does It Mean To Be” and “Lead Weight.” The quintet encored with “Bullseye Blues” and the end of “Best Kept Secret.”
