George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic Detail US Summer Tour 2022
The band’s legendary frontman decided against retirement.

George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic began rolling out 2022 One Nation Under A Groove Tour dates. Clinton returns to the road this summer after deciding to call off his retirement. The Motet, Dopapod, , Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe and The Floozies will be among support for select dates of the legendary funk band’s upcoming trek.
The group previously embarked on the first One Nation Under A Groove Tour in 2018. While the excursion was originally supposed to be Clinton’s farewell tour, he’s “back by popular demand” to continue a 50+ year career.
Central Park’s SummerStage in New York City will host the tour opener on June 15. George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic and friends will then hit New Haven, Connecticut (June 18); Worcester, Massachusetts (June 19); Fort Wayne, Indiana (June 24); Indianapolis (June 25); Cincinnati (June 26) and Asheville, North Carolina (June 30) over the remainder of the month.

The Rock & Roll Hall Of Famers will headline underground venue The Caverns in Pelham, Tennessee on July 2. Additional July dates announced today include stops in Philadelphia (July 7); Toledo, Ohio (July 8); Fort Worth, Texas (July 22) and Cedar Park, Texas (July 23) as well as shows at venues to be announced in Seattle (July 28) and Portland, Oregon (July 29).
George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic focus on the West Coast in August. The band will head to California via Phoenix (August 11) and Las Vegas (August 13) for shows in Inglewood (August 17), Saratoga (August 19), Blue Lake (August 20) and Napa (August 21).
