Legendary funk ensemble George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic announced details of their 2024 Spring Tour dates. The next leg of the band’s Just For The Funk Of It Tour will feature Dumpstaphunk as support.

George Clinton continues to hit the road with his powerhouse band despite embarking on a farewell tour in 2019. An excursion held last summer was dubbed “Just For The Funk Of It! – Final Tour?!?” in a nod to the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame act’s decision to resume touring. The upcoming trek includes concerts in May and June.

After an evening concert in New Orleans on May 5 coinciding with the last day of Jazz Fest, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic launches the tour proper with Dumpstaphunk at The Eastern in Atlanta on May 16. The trek then hits Cherokee, North Carolina on May 17; Washington D.C. on May 19; Montclair, New Jersey on May 22; Wilmington, Delaware on May 23; Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on May 24; Huntington, New York on May 25; Cincinnati on May 28; Detroit on May 30 and Columbus on May 31.

George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic and Dumpstaphunk start June with shows at a venue to be announced in the Chicago area on June 1 and 2. Additional stops follow in Kansas City on June 4; Denver on June 5; Las Vegas on June 7; San Diego on June 8; Napa, California on June 9; Saratoga, California on June 12; Stateline, Nevada on June 13; Portland, Oregon on June 14 and Seattle on June 15. P-Funk will also make an appearance on August 31 at the inaugural Fool In Love festival in Los Angeles.

Tickets for most new dates go on sale tomorrow Friday, February 23.
