Gary Clark Jr. Unveils ‘Got To Get Up’ Video

Guitarist Gary Clark Jr. tapped filmmakers Manu Viqueira and Laprisamata to create the official video for “Got To Get Up.” The song comes from Clark Jr.’s recently released Warner Records studio album This Land.

“A journey throughout history in which the powerful energy of ‘Got To Get Up’ makes people come together to fight with pride against different forms of oppression,” said Viqueira of the politically-tinged song and video. The animated video features such iconic figures as Martin Luther King Jr., John Lennon, Bob Marley, Nelson Mandela and the Dalai Lama.
