The current tour featuring Gov’t Mule and Galactic continues to produce collaborations as the two acts again shared the stage during the their stop last night in Indianapolis. Members of Galactic once again sat-in with Gov’t Mule at Wednesday’s show at The Lawn At White River State Park.

Frontman Warren Haynes led Mule through an 18-song single-set performance last evening in Indy. The band opened with “Traveling Tune” from their just-issued studio LP Revolution Come … Revolution Go. Mid-way into their set Mule welcomed vocalist Erica Falls to sing Etta James’ “I’d Rather Go Blind” with the accompaniment of saxophonist Ben Ellman and trumpeter Shamarr Allen.

The trio of Galactic guests returned with their band mates, keyboardist Rich Vogel and guitarist Jeff Raines, for a set-closing cover of Little Feat’s “Spanish Moon” that was augmented with “Thank You Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin” lyrics. Galactic and Gov’t Mule perform again tonight at Brenton Skating Plaza in Des Moines, Iowa.
