New Orleans funk act Galactic will hit the road this November for a 14-show fall tour. The band will be joined by Fruition and The Hip Abduction at select shows over the course of the three-week run.
Galactic starts the tour with a show at New Daisy Theatre in Memphis on November 3. From there, the band visits Atlanta, Athens, Jackson and Baton Rouge. The tour continues with a swing through Texas including shows in San Antonio, Houston and Austin ahead of a concert at George’s Majestic in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Fruition opens the first nine shows of the tour.
The New Orleans funksters end the tour with five of six shows featuring support from The Hip Abduction. Up first for the pairing is a show at Workplay in Birmingham on November 15. Galactic and THA then play Vinyl Music Hall in Pensacola, Florida on November 16 and Ponte Verda Music Hall in Ponte Verda Beach, Florida on November 17. Stanton Moore & Co. have a show without support at St. Petersbury’s Jannus Landing on November 18 ahead of a tour-closing show with The Hip Abduction at Revolution in Fort Lauderdale on November 19.
