Future Islands Perform ‘For Sure’ On ‘Colbert’

Future Islands recently appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. The Baltimore-based synthpop group delivered “For Sure” from their upcoming album, As Long As You Are, which arrives tomorrow.

Future Islands has a history with The Late Show. The band appeared on the late night program in 2014 at the tail end of David Letterman’s tenure and their performance of “Seasons (Waiting on You),” especially the high energy antics of frontman Sam Herring, garnered The Late Show a record-breaking number of YouTube views for the show. Letterman would have the band back during his final year hosting in 2015 and recently the group returned under Colbert.
