DVR Rewind | Future Islands On Letterman

A little over a year ago Future Islands were the musical guests on the Late Show with David Letterman, delivering a mesmerizing performance of their popular song “Seasons (Waiting on You).” Last night the band returned at Dave’s request to perform one last time before the host retires next month.
Frontman Samuel T. Herring of the Baltimore-based band dedicated the debut performance of their new single, “The Chase” to the city the band calls home. “The Chase” was recently issued as a Record Store Day release that was recorded straight to vinyl at Abbey Road Studios. The track is being released today as part of a double-A side along with new cut “Haunted By You” both digitally and as a limited 7-inch single (on June 30).
