Full Show Pro-Shot Video: The Disco Biscuits Debut LCD Soundsystem Cover At Camp Bisco

On Friday night The Disco Biscuits played their second of three headlining shows as part of the 2018 installment of Camp Bisco. After delivering a one set performance on Thursday night the band upped it to two and will close things out tonight with three full sets. Friday night’s performance saw the four-piece act offer up a debut along with their second performance of an iconic 1980s song.

The Philadelphia-based band got their night going at Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pennsylvania with a lengthy segued-filled run that kicked off with “Shem Rah Boo.” The old-school classic worked its way into the Biscuits debut of LCD Soundsystem’s “Tribulations.” The track from the dance-rock act’s 2005 self-titled debut eventually transitioned into “Pimp Blue Rikki” which featured teases of “Tribulations” before returning back to “Shem Rah Boo” to close out the opening stretch. “Strobelights & Martinis” also saw the band continue to toy with the LCD Soundsystem track as it segued into their second ever stab at Duran Duran’s “Rio.” The tune which was debuted during last year’s New Year’s run capped tDB opening frame.

The quartet kicked off their second set of the night with “Rivers” which was seeing its fourth appearance since it was dusted off after a seven-plus year layoff. “Caterpillars” was then the launching point for a seamless run that would take the festival’s host band through the rest of their night. “Voices Insane” followed with the instrumental “Sweating Bullets” making an appearance before they returned back to “Caterpillar” to close out the stanza.
