In 1999, Colorado’s The String Cheese Incident played one of their highest-profile gigs up until that point at the ill-fated Woodstock ’99 concert in Rome, New York. While the festival was marred by reports of violence and rape as well as the fires that broke out, SCI did get to perform in front of a large crowd both at the concert and via a Pay-Per-View broadcast.
