Full Show Friday | Prince At Capitol Theatre – 1982

The artist known as Prince was on the verge of blowing up to mega-star status when he brought the Controversy Tour to The Capitol Theatre in Passaic, New Jersey on January 30, 1982. Prince showed off the vocals, songwriting and guitar work that would soon make him an icon at The Cap that night and thankfully Bill Graham’s cameras captured the entire performance.

You may have heard that Prince recently wiped his official presence off all social networks including YouTube. Prince has long been opposed to his material showing up on YouTube and as of press time, Music Vault’s video of The Purple One at The Cap is the only full show Prince performance left on the service. So let’s check it out while we can:
