Full Show Friday | Primus At Outside Lands 2008

In August of 2008, Primus was one of the performers who played the very first Outside Lands at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. The lineup of Claypool, Tim Alexander and Larry LaLonde treated fans to an impressive 11-song set heavy on their “hits.”

Primus kicked off the performance with a tease of “YYZ” by Rush” before laying into “Here Come The Bastards.” Claypool used the opportunity to talk about how excited he was to be playing Golden Gate Park and that event organizers Superfly came to his neighborhood. The relentless set included masterful takes on “Those Damned Blue-Collar Tweekers,” “Seas Of Cheese,” “My Name Is Mud,” “Jerry Was A Race Car Driver” and more.
