Fruition Previews New Year’s Show With Bobby Gentry Cover

Americana act Fruition will ring in 2017 with a three-night stand at Wonder Ballroom in their hometown of Portland, Oregon on December 29 – 31. The band’s New Year’s Eve concert will feature a “50 Years Later” set made up of songs originally released in 1967, and they’ve shared a preview of one of the covers they’re working on.
Fruition’s concert on December 31 will include an opening set by Hillstomp, followed by two Fruition sets. The quintet promises “some seriously deep cuts” from 1967 as part of the “50 Years Later” set. They posted a rehearsal video of their cover of “Ode To Billie Joe” – the title track to Bobbie Gentry’s 1967 debut LP.
