Fruition teamed with special guest Sean McLean for a pair of covers and debuted the original “Wild As The Night” during their Friday late night set at the Hangtown Music Festival. The performance took place at the Hangin’ Hall within the Placerville, California festival grounds.

“Wild As The Night” is the title track of Fruition’s forthcoming studio album, which is due on November 8. The seven-track LP was produced by the band and recorded at Silo Sound Studio in Denver. Fruition debuted the live version of “Wild As The Night” towards the middle of their Hangtown late night.

Sean McLean of World’s Finest first emerged with his sax six songs into the performance for a take on “Everything I Do Gonh Be Funky (From Now On),” a tune written by Allen Toussaint and popularized by Lee Dorsey. Fruition followed with “Blue Light” and a cover of Tom Petty’s “Runnin’ Down A Dream” before debuting “Wild As The Night.” McLean returned to the stage to add saxophone to the band’s rendition of Junior Walker & The All Stars’ “Shotgun” that served as the finale.
