Watch Shania Twain Join Foo Fighters For ‘Best Of You’ At Austin City Limits Festival

Shania Twain made a surprise guest appearance during Foo Fighters‘ set at the Austin City Limits Music Festival this past Saturday, October 7. Twain dueted with Dave Grohl on “Best Of You,” the penultimate song of the band’s performance in Austin’s Zilker Park.

The Canadian superstar was fresh off her own set at the first weekend of the 2023 ACL Fest. Grohl revved into “Best Of You” from Foo Fighters’ 2005 album In Your Honor late in the night after asking fans to sing along. Twain emerged dressed to the nines towards the start of the song sans intro.

Shania Twain and Dave Grohl shared vocals throughout “Best Of You” and traded lines towards the end. Grohl urged his guest on with shouts of “Go Shania!” and “Tell me Shania!” Twain is the latest iconic musician to join Foo Fighters in recent months following appearances from Billy Idol, Michael Buble and Alanis Morissette.

“This was one off the bucket list for me!” wrote Twain on her social feeds of the collaboration. “Thank you to Foo Fighters for inviting me on stage – you are all so generous and ridiculously cool. I am a huge rock fan,” she added before calling Dave Grohl “a true friend and talent.”

Foo Fighters hit Houston’s 713 Music Hall this Tuesday, October 10. It’s then back to Zilker Park on Saturday, October 14 for the second weekend of this year’s ACL Fest.
