Foo Fighters Promise Band Announcement Tonight

After Dave Grohl performed at the Oscars on Sunday, a report in the New York Post claimed Grohl was going solo which in turn led to rumors Foo Fighters are breaking up. While band reps dismissed the breakup rumors, the Foo Fighters’ Twitter account has teased a “band announcement.”

The tweet from yesterday reads, “Official band announcement tomorrow night. Stay tuned.” There’s no indication of what’s ahead outside of the tweet. Foo Fighters ended their latest World Tour late last year and released a surprise EP with a note indicating they would be taking a hiatus. As the band tweeted, stay tuned!
