Foo Fighters & Perry Farrell Perform ‘Been Caught Stealing’ In Sweden

Foo Fighters were among the headliners at the inaugural Lollapalooza Stockholm this past weekend and welcomed festival founder and Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell for “Been Caught Stealing” as part of their set. In addition, Foo Fighters paid tribute to the doctor that helped Dave Grohl after he broke his leg during a 2015 concert in Sweden.

Towards the middle of Foo Fighters’ set at Lollapalooza Sweden, Grohl started “My Hero” solo and dedicated the song to Dr. Johan Sampson. Just before the full band came in, Dave spotted the doctor who helped him in 2015 in the crowd. Grohl had the crowd acknowledge the man who not only tended his broken leg in 2015 but stayed on stage to help Dave finish the set. Dr. Johan then surfed through the audience and returned to Foo Fighters’ stage for the first time since that fateful night. The doctor wound up singing “My Hero” with Grohl on Saturday night.

A few songs later, Perry Farrell and members of his Kind Heaven Orchestra ensemble came out to augment Foo Fighters on Jane’s Addiction’s 1990 hit “Been Caught Stealing.” The rest of Saturday’s Foo Fighters set was heavy on the hits including “Learn To Fly,” “Times Like These,” “Best Of You” and “Everlong.”
