Foo Fighters issued a four-track EP entitled Live On The Radio 1996 featuring performances recorded in 1996 for the ROCKLINE radio show. Live On The Radio 1996 is available exclusively to stream and purchase via Amazon Music.

ROCKLINE was produced by Scott Weiss, who recently came across the recording. Bob Coburn and the ROCKLINE team prepped the tracks for re-release. Live On The Radio 1996 includes the non-album track “How I Miss You,” a never-before-heard version of “Wattershed” featuring frontman Dave Grohl altering its lyrics, The Colour And The Shape’s “Up In Arms” and “For All The Cows,” a song originally released on the band’s self-titled 1995 debut.

“The band laughed and then dove in and started to work up the idea. The show would cut away for commercials and [Foo Fighters] would practice the new ‘Wattershed’ idea,” explained Weiss. “The version of ‘Wattershed’ that would soon be known as ‘Water Fred’ was born.” Head to People Of Rock And Roll for more from Scott Weiss.
