Foo Fighters invited a fan named Richard from Manchester, England to play drums on a song at Wednesday night’s concert in Pula, Croatia. Richard took Taylor Hawkins‘ spot behind the kit on a performance of the 2009 single “Wheels.”
The show was the band’s second of two at The Pula Arena, an ancient amphitheater that is one of the most intact Roman amphitheaters remaining. Foo Fighters played for over three hours and treated fans to a career-spanning setlist that included the first version of “For All The Cows” since October. Frontman Dave Grohl brought Richard on stage towards the end of the concert and the Manchester native nailed “Wheels” to the delight of Grohl and his band mates.
