Foo Fighters Confirm Stacked Wrigley Field Lineup

As we reported, Foo Fighters recently announced a headlining performance at Chicago’s famed Wrigley Field on August 29. This morning the band has announced support for the gig and they’ve picked a handful of their favorite Chicago bands.

Legendary Chicago acts Urge Overkill, Naked Raygun and Cheap Trick will open for Foo Fighters at the iconic ballpark. Both Naked Raygun and Cheap Trick were prominently featured in the first episode of Foo’s HBO series, Sonic Highways.

Tickets for the show go on sale to the public on Monday, October 27 at at 10 a.m. CT via the Cubs’ website.
