Taking a detour from our typical Follow Friday feature which typically focuses on our favorite Twitter users like Mike Gordon and Joel Cummins, a recent Facebook change has given its users the ability to prioritize sources of information that show up in their News Feeds, meaning you can adjust your Facebook settings to make certain you see JamBase articles atop your News Feed. The customizing feature came as part of a recent update to the Facebook iOS and Android app, and can be accessed on the desktop as well.




In order not to miss JamBase articles such as the Mount Rushmore Of Phish Jams, our interview with Derek Trucks, Couch Tour alerts and the bevy of interesting content we publish each day, here are instructions for prioritizing JamBase in your Facebook News Feed whether you choose to via the desktop or via an up-to-date iOS or Android app. 

Prioritize JamBase via the desktop one of two ways:
1. Head to the JamBaseFacebook page.
2. Place your mouse over the “Like” (or hopefully “Liked”) button.
3. When the box appears, select “See First” under the “In Your News Feed” section

or

1. Head to the JamBase Facebook page.
2. Press the “Like” button (if you haven’t already).
3. Click the “Following” button that appears to the right of the “Like” button
4. Select “See First” under the “In Your News Feed” section.

Prioritize JamBase on your iOS Device:
1. Open the Facebook app and make sure you’ve “Liked” JamBase.
2. In the lower right hand corner of the screen press “More.”
3. Scroll down and select “News Feed Preferences.”
4. Select “Prioritize who to see first.”
5. Choose JamBase to be prioritized in your News Feed and then press “Done.”

Prioritize JamBase on your Android Device:
1. Open the Facebook app and make sure you’ve “Liked” JamBase.
2. Find the JamBase Facebook page.
3. Click on “Following.”
4. Choose “See First” for JamBase to be prioritized in your News Feed.
