One week after sharing a cryptic teaser video, Florence + The Machine announced their first new album since 2022. Everybody Scream will be released on Halloween (October 31).

The band led by Florence Welch revealed few details about their sixth studio album. While fans await advance music from the long-awaited follow-up to Dance Fever, Florence + The Machine’s message on social media includes the cover art for Everybody Scream. A sprawled-out Welch is pictured staring at the camera.

Pre-orders are currently underway for Everybody Scream on cassette, CD, vinyl and digital. A “Chamber Version” of the album features its 12 songs along with four exclusive chamber versions available exclusively on the special edition vinyl and CD. The product pages do not include the tracklist for the seemingly 12-song LP.

Florence + The Machine have been off the road since wrapping their Dance Fever Tour in 2023. The group did play a one-off orchestral concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall on September 11, 2024 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of their debut album, 2009’s Lungs. A live album documenting the show was released the next month as Symphony Of Lungs.

Welch was featured on and co-wrote “Florida!!!,” a track from Taylor Swift's 2024 album The Tortured Poets Department. Florence Welch joined Taylor Swift at London's Wembley Stadium on August 20, 2024 for the live debut of “Florida!!!.” Welch went on to perform the song again with Swift at all three Miami dates of her The Eras Tour last October.
