The Flaming Lips Add More ‘Yoshimi’ 20th Anniversary Shows

The Flaming Lips announced four new August tour dates celebrating the 20th anniversary of their landmark album, Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots. The band will play the 2002 album from front to back at each stop.

After previously confirmed Yoshimi performances in May and June, The Flaming Lips will start August with a celebratory show at The Fillmore in Detroit on August 2. Wayne Coyne and company then hit The Fillmore Philadelphia on August 6 and College Street Music Hall in New Haven, Connecticut on August 7. Additionally, the group will bring Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots to Ogden, Utah on August 26 following a string of Pacific Northwest dates announced last month.

Tickets for the shows in Detroit, Philadelphia and New Haven go on sale this Friday, March 31. Tickets for Ogden are available now.
