The Fearless Flyers Cover Steely Dan’s ‘Reelin’ In The Years’

The Fearless Flyers shared a cover of Steely Dan’s “Reelin’ In The Years.” The song was recorded for the band’s forthcoming album, The Fearless Flyers III.

The Fearless Flyers consist of drummer Nate Smith, guitarist Mark Lettieri and Vulfpeck bassist Joe Dart and guitarist Cory Wong. There are 12 days remaining to order a vinyl copy of The Fearless Flyers III through the crowdfunding service Qrates. The record was previously previewed by the singles “Patrol Acrobatique,” “Running Man” and the aptly titled “Three Basses” featuring Wong and Lettieri joining Dart on bass.

Steely Dan included “Reelin’ In The Years” on their 1972 album, Can’t Buy A Thrill. The Fearless Flyers went instrumental for their version of the radio-friendly classic. Watch The Fearless Flyers cover Steely Dan’s “Reelin’ In The Years” below:
