Father John Misty Performs ‘Goodbye Mr. Blue’ On ‘Colbert’

The song is the latest single off the upcoming album, ‘Chloë And The Next 20th Century.’

Father John Misty performed “Goodbye Mr. Blue” on Wednesday’s episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. The song is the latest single off the forthcoming Father John Misty album, Chloë And The Next 20th Century.

The new album, which is set for release on April 8 through Sub Pop Records/Bella Union, is the fifth full length released by Josh Tillman under the FJM moniker. The record was produced by Tillman’s regular collaborator, producer and fellow singer-songwriter Jonathan Wilson. In addition to the just-released “Goodbye Mr. Blue,” the forthcoming LP features the previously shared singles “Funny Girl” and “Q4.”
