Farm Aid Enlists Willie Nelson, Dave Matthews, Neil Young, Billy Strings & More For 40th Anniversary Lineup

The fundraiser makes its Minnesota debut at Minneapolis’ Huntington Bank Stadium on Saturday, September 20.

Farm Aid will make its Minnesota debut on September 20, 2025 at Minneapolis’ Huntington Bank Stadium. Billy Strings will perform at the fundraiser for the first time as part of an impressive lineup headlined by board members Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews and Margo Price.

Waxahatchee, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Trampled by Turtles, Eric Burton (Black Pumas), Jesse Welles and Madeline Edwards round out the initial Farm Aid 40 lineup. Additional artists are to be announced.

Willie Nelson will perform with his Family band, while Neil Young will be accompanied by the Chrome Hearts and Dave Matthews will take the stage with Tim Reynolds. First held in 1985, Farm Aid brings awareness to and raises funds for family farmers. Over $80 million has been raised by the organization for its year-round work with and for family farmers.

A presale begins tomorrow, May 14 at 10 a.m. CT and runs through 6 p.m. CT on Thursday, May 15 (or until the allotment sells out). Farm Aid 40 tickets then go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 16 at 10 a.m. CT.
