We’re very excited to announce that LA-based soul & funk revivalists Orgone will hit the road with San Francisco-based psych-soul & funk act Monophonics for a collabrative tour dubbed “Orgone vs. Monophonics” this spring.

Don’t let the name of the tour fool you -these two bands have nothing but love for each other and share complimentary sounds. Orgone, who are currently working on their upcoming seventh studio album for release later this year, will feature new lead singer Adryon de Leon. Adryon’s incredible pipes and stage presence impressed us and the large crowd Orgone drew on Jam Cruise. “Professionally, musically, spiritually all paths led me to Orgone, as I formed instant connections with the boys. It’s rare to hear an approach to music and performance like theirs, and to feel as if the needle has dropped on some incredible record every time,” said Adryon de Leon in a statement. “I’m ecstatic to share music with our brothers from other mothers, the Monophonics. I can’t help but feel like we’ve walked into some grand soul family reunion every time we meet.”

Keyboardist Kelly Finnigan of Monophonics added, “There is so much respect and admiration between the two bands, it’s really a special relationship we all have. Monophonics were fans of Orgone before we became friends, and now we’re family! We have been waiting for this tour to come together for over two years and I know we are all very excited to give the people a show like no other.”
