Eric Krasno Says Bowlive To Return In June

In 2010 Soulive played a 10-show residency at Brooklyn Bowl in New York City using the clever name “Bowlive.” The trio brought the guest-filled run back to the venue each year since up until 2016. While Bowlive wasn’t held last year, there’s good news about its future from Soulive guitarist Eric Krasno.
Eric Krasno participated in Jambands.com’s Auld Lang Syne series and revealed Bowlive is coming back soon. When asked if he has any big plans in the works for 2017, Krasno responded “In 2017 I will finish my new solo album (the follow-up to Blood From A Stone) and continue to tour with Eric Krasno Band. We also have a new Soulive album in the works (produced by Pretty Lights) and will do our Bowlive run again in June. I will also be doing some production and writing work with a few other artists in the studio.”
Prior to Kraz’s comments, the last official word about the status of Bowlive came from Soulive a little over a year ago. At the time the trio expected to release their Pretty Lights-produced album “later in 2016” and were hoping to hold Bowlive 7 around that time. It appears since the album’s release was pushed back, the Bowlive run was as well. We look forward to hearing more from Soulive about Bowlive 7.
