Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros have released the official video for “Child” off their latest album Here. Read on for the band’s statement about the video posted on their Facebook page:

“A few months ago we partnered with Genero.tv in order to hold a fan generated video contest. Some of you may know about this or perhaps you may have even submitted one yourself. They could be for ANY song from our album HERE. 78 videos in total were submitted. INCREDIBLE ! ! ! We awarded a cash prize to the top three that we felt touched us the most.

This video for Child absolutely blew us away. We don’t know much about the filmmaker other then they are from Poland. A really beautiful tale and extremely well executed. We hope you enjoy this as much as we do!!”
