Friday night’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon turned into a celebration of the host’s 40th birthday. Not only was Fallon surprised with a big birthday cake out of which actors James Franco and Seth Rogen emerged in their birthday suits, but the real surprise was an appearance from musical legend Stevie Wonder.

Stevie sat for an interview with Jimmy and discussed his upcoming Songs In The Key Of Life Tour, among other topics. Wonder then queried Fallon on what song he’d like to hear. The host selected “Sir Duke” and he and the television audience were treated to a fantastic rendition featuring Stevie backed by The Roots. Take a look:
