Watch Dua Lipa Sing ‘99 Luftballons’ In German At Hamburg Concert

Dua Lipa sang “99 Luftballons” by Nena in German during her Radical Optimism Tour stop last night in Germany. The locally-focused performance took place at the concert held at Barclays Arena in Germany.

Radical Optimism Tour concerts unfold through four different acts and an encore. Throughout the tour, Lipa has used the penultimate song of the second act to cover different songs, often tying in the location of the show. Previous covers include performing with Kevin Park of Tame Impala, Angus Stone and Troye Sivan, as well as playing songs by Kylie Minogue, Lorde, INXS, Ednaswap, Vance Joy and AC/DC while touring Australia and New Zealand.

The tour has also seen Lipa perform location-appropriate songs by Manu Chao, Enrique Iglesias and Indila. The Radical Optimism Tour show on Friday in France saw Lipa cover French duo Daft Punk’s song “Get Lucky.”
