Watch Dry Cleaning Do Some ‘Stumpwork’ ‘Live On KEXP’

See the English band perform songs from their latest LP.

Dry Cleaning recently performed Live On KEXP. The English rockers led by the largely spoken word stylings of Florence Shaw offered songs from their 2022 album, Stumpwork, for the Seattle independent radio station.

Stumpwork arrived on October 21, 2022. Dry Cleaning also recently released a companion EP titled Swampy, which contains outtakes from the Stumpwork sessions along with remixes.

Recorded on January 18, Dry Cleaning — Shaw, guitarist Tom Dowse, bassist Lewis Maynard, drummer Nick Buxton and keyboardist/guitarist Daniel Rumsey — kicked off their Live On KEXP session with Stumpwork‘s “Gary Ashby” followed by deeper cut “Hot Penny Day.”

Dry Cleaning continued with “No Decent Shoes For Rain” before closing out the session with Stumpwork’s opening track, “Anna Calls From The Arctic.” Watch Dry Cleaning perform Live On KEXP and chat with host Larry Mizell Jr. below:
