Surviving Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are featured on Dolly Parton’s version of The Beatles’ “Let It Be.” The track is set for Parton’s upcoming album, Rockstar, due out via Butterfly Records on November 17.
Rockstar is fittingly Parton’s first album following her induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in 2022. Along with Paul and Ringo, the star-studded record — containing 9 originals and 21 rock anthems — also sees guest spots from Sting, Stevie Nicks, Steve Perry, Miley Cyrus, Warren Haynes and more.

One of those rock anthems is “Let It Be,” which features a duet from Dolly and Paul. McCartney also plays piano with Ringo on drums, Mick Fleetwood on percussion and Peter Frampton on guitar.
“Well, does it get any better than singing ‘Let It Be’ with Paul McCartney who wrote the song?” Dolly said. “Not only that, he played piano! Well, it did get even better when Ringo Starr joined in on drums, Peter Frampton on guitar and Mick Fleetwood playing percussion. I mean, seriously, how much better does it get? Thanks guys!”
