Dogs In A Pile shared the new studio cut “Today.” The song was penned by the New Jersey-based jam quintet’s guitarist and vocalist Jimmy Law.

Dogs In A Pile — consisting of Law, bassist Sam Lucid, keyboardist Jeremy Kaplan, drummer Joe Babick and guitarist/vocalist Brian Murray — drop the reggae-tinged “Today” as they are in the midst of an extensive fall tour. The run includes dates supporting Twiddle, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong and Keller Williams.

“Today was written in a flow state that I naturally came across in a dense time of growth and learning,” stated Jimmy Law in a press release. “When things get crazy it’s important to remember who’s there for you and that it’s okay to ask for help. It’s inspired by lyricists like Mac Miller and Mihali with quick speech and simple ideas.” The song will be featured on a Dogs In A Pile album due out in 2023.
