The Disco Biscuits hosted the 2nd annual Biscoland over the Fourth Of July Weekend at Wonderland Forest in Lafayette, New York. The band’s performances at the nascent event were built around “new songs, new lyrics, new covers, [and] new beginnings.”

Additional Biscoland 2024 performers included Lettuce, lespecial, Kitchen Dwellers, Manic Focus, Nora En Pure, Mark Farina, DJ Minx and others. A late night silent disco was held over the holiday weekend as well.

“This weekend was so special,” Bisco bassist Marc Brownstein said. “We feel so grateful for our community, there’s really no good way to express how much it means to us. From our amazing crew to our amazing fans and everyone else who supports us on our journey, these experiences just reinforce how lucky we are to be able to do what we do. We hope you enjoyed Biscoland 2024 as much as we did.”

Biscoland kicked off on Independence Day with a rare Tractorbeam set loaded with cover debuts. The instrumental side of Bisco offered first-time takes on Porter Robinson’s “Language,” Fisher’s “Losing It,” Darude’s “Sandstorm,” Fred again.. & Baby Keem’s “Leavemealone,” KX5’s “Escape” and – fitting for the 4th Of July festivities – Katy Perry’s “Firework.”

Interspersed between the debuts included a techno version of “Confrontation,” “The Great Abyss,” “Lake Shore Drive” with Kaskade’s “Meditation to the Groove” samples, “Monster,” “Uber Glue” and “Photograph.”

The first two proper the Disco Biscuits sets of Biscoland 2024 took place on Friday, July 5. “Vassillios” opened the first set and was followed by 27-minute version of the year-old song “Dino Baby.” After an inverted “Crickets,” another recently debuted new song, “In The End We Have Forever” was played for the first time with the band singing newly revealed lyrics. “No Recollection” pulled in after to close the set.

The Disco Biscuits selected a new original song entitled “Another Spin” to make its live debut as the second set opener and stretched its accompanying jam to 33 minutes. The ending of “Another Plan Of Attack” trailed the premiere and teed up a segue into a first-time performance of Fisher’s “Losing It.” A transition back to the beginning of “Another Plan Of Attack” followed the cover debut. The uninterrupted set stacked out with “Catalyst” going into “Ring The Doorbell Twice.”

Each of the Disco Biscuits’ two Biscoland sets on Saturday, July 6 featured additional new song debuts. Bisco turned in a three-song set one on Saturday, offering festivalgoers the opportunity to hear “Better In Doses” for the first time. A split “Basis For A Day” bookended the opening set, with “Freeze” from their 2024 studio album Revolution in Motion lining up ahead of the “Better In Doses” drop.

The fourth and final the Disco Biscuits set of Biscoland 2024 included longtime favorites “House Dog Party Favor,” “Cyclone,” “Above The Waves” and “Digital Buddha.” The final Biscoland 2024 new original debut was “Trap Door,” delivered in two broken-up parts.

The Disco Biscuits will offer livestream replays of all three nights of Biscoland 2024 via nugs.net. The livestream will air July 8 – 10 at 8 p.m. exclusively via nugs.net.
