The Disco Biscuits Announce Drummer Allen Aucoin’s Departure

The Disco Biscuits announced the departure of drummer Allen Aucoin in statement shared by co-founding members, bassist Marc Brownstein, guitarist Jon Gutwillig and keyboardist Aron Magner. Drummer Marlon B. Lewis will join the Disco Biscuits for the remainder of 2025.

Lewis has performed alongside Brownstein in the band Star Kitchen. The statement regarding Aucoin’s exit indicated all scheduled 2025 and 2026 tour dates will continue as planned.

Aucoin joined the Disco Biscuits in 2005, replacing founding drummer Sam Altman. Aucoin shared his own statement addressing the end of his tenure with Bisco, which he framed as the Disco Biscuits “moving forward without” him and “not solely financially driven.”

Gutwillig also posted a track titled “I Don’t Talk,” seemingly directed at Aucoin. While the original track was pulled from Soundcloud, the song remains widely shared online.
