The Disco Biscuits Dance The ‘Highwire’ In Las Vegas

Jamtronica act The Disco Biscuits kicked off a three-night stand at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas in Sin City on Thursday night. The band opened with a Prince cover and then delivered a pair of well-jammed sets including a second set bookended by portions of “Highwire.”

The Biscuits began the festivities with a cover of “Let’s Go Crazy” by Prince, the third time they’ve played the Purple Rain track. They proceeded to focus on originals over the remainder of the evening. Up first was “Voices Insane” which they didn’t finish and instead jammed into “Rock Candy” and the same applied as “Munchkin Invasion” began. From there, tDB ended the set with “On Time” > the final part of “Caterpillar.”

As mentioned the second set was one huge “Highwire” set, complete with portions of “I-Man” out of “Highwire” towards the beginning of the set and into “Highwire” to close the set. Within was an inverted “The Great Abyss” plus “And The Ladies Were The Rest Of The Night.” The Disco Biscuits said farewell with the 2016 debut of “I Remember When” as the encore.
