The Allman Brothers Band co-founding guitarist Dickey Betts posted an update on his health following a recent mild stroke. Betts confirmed he is ready to return to the stage again and added a concert to his November touring schedule.

An update on Facebook stated Betts’ “recovery from his minor stroke is ahead of schedule and he has already started playing his guitar again.” Betts canceled a number of performances last month, revealing at the time that the 74-year-old had suffered a minor stroke. Betts also backed out of headlining Florida Jam 2018 at Sunset Cove Amphitheater in Boca Raton, Florida in October.

The guitarist and his band will return to the stage on November 1 in Augusta, Georgia, followed by a show on November 3 in Pompano Beach, Florida and a performance on November 5 in Clearwater, Florida. Betts confirmed a new November 9 concert at Hampton Beach Casino in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire, which was one of the three venues Betts was supposed to play in August.
