The Allman Brothers Band co-founding guitarist will come out of retirement from performing live when he returns to the stage in May with The Dickey Betts Band. This week more shows were added to the legendary 74-year-old musician’s tour schedule, including a night at the Beacon Theatre in New York City.

The upcoming concerts will mark Betts first live performances since he toured back in 2014. Dickey will be backed by his son Duane Betts on guitar, drummers Frankie Lombardi and Steve Camilleri as well as bassist Pedro Arevalo, guitarist Damon Fowler and keyboardist Mike Kach.

This edition of Sunday Cinema heads back to 2014 to collect a series of video highlights of Betts and his band mates when they were last in action. The set contains many Allman Brothers Band classics such as “Jessica,” “Blue Sky,” “Ramblin’ Man” and “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed,” as well as staples like “Statesboro Blues” and “One Way Out,” among others.
