Desert Trip Mega-Festival Featuring Rock Legends Expanded To Second Weekend

Desert Trip, the festival featuring The Who, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Neil Young and Roger Waters has been expanded to a second weekend. Not only will each group perform full shows at the festival October 7 – 9 at Empire Polo Field in Indio, California, but the iconic acts will come together for a second weekend at the same site Friday, October 14 – Sunday, October 16.
The second weekend of the three-night event kicks off Friday, October 14 with The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan and His Band, followed on Saturday, October 15 by Paul McCartney and Neil Young + Promise of the Real, with the weekend coming to a close on Sunday, October 16 with Roger Waters and The Who. Reserved seats and general admission passes go on sale today at 10 a.m. PT via DesertTrip.com. Three-day GA passes run $399, reserved floor tickets will be available for $699, $999 and $1,599, reserved grandstand tickets are priced at $999 and $1,599 while standing pit passes run $1,599. Single-day ducats will be available and cost $199. Hotel packages, premium seating, RV and tent camping are also available.
The six Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductees have never shared the same bill together and it also marks the first time Dylan and McCartney are in the same lineup. Desert Trip also is the first confirmed full shows from Roger Waters since the end of his record-breaking The Wall World Tour. The event is being produced by Coachella organizers Goldenvoice/AEG Live. In addition to the music, Desert Trip will feature an all-star lineup of world renowned chefs from 40 of the best restaurants in the country.
