By Andy Kahn Jun 6, 2016 • 1:36 pm PDT

This weekend the 2016 Holland International Blues Festival took place at The Blues Village in the small Dutch town of Grolloo. Performers at the event in the Netherlands included veteran guitarist/vocalist Bonnie Raitt, as well as Tedeschi Trucks Band and others. Raitt’s performance featured a sit-in from the namesake members of TTB.
After a set that included songs from Raitt’s recently issued LP Dig In Deep, such as a cover of “Need You Tonight” by INXS and “Shakin’ Shakin’ Shakes” by Los Lobos, as well as other favorites like “Round And Round” and “The Comin’ Round Is Going Through,” Raitt returned to the stage with her pair of guests for the encore. Guitarist Derek Trucks and guitarist/vocalist Susan Tedeschi joined the finale for takes on her popular version of John Prine’s “Angel From Montgomery” and B.B. King’s “Never Make Your Move Too Soon.”
Audience-shot footage of the collaboration in the Netherlands can be seen in the videos below.
