Dead & Company Performs ‘U.S. Blues’ At Playing In The Sand 2020: Pro-Shot Video

Dead & Company shared video featuring “U.S. Blues” from the final night of their Playing In The Sand 2020 destination event, the sextet’s most recent performance. Additionally, Dead & Company announced livestream rebroadcasts of the first two Playing In The Sand 2020 concerts.
Playing In The Sand 2020 spanned January 16 – 19, 2020 at Moon Palace Cancún in Riviera Cancún, Mexico. The sextet consisting of Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann along with John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti recently announced the 2022 installment of the event as well as a second weekend after the initial weekend sold out.
Official video featuring the group’s January 16, 2020 concert airs via nugs.net on May 7 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. Then, nugs.net will broadcast Dead & Company’s January 18, 2020 performance on May 8 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
Dead & Company closed out their second set on January 18, 2020 with “U.S. Blues.” Bob Weir and John Mayer shared lead vocals on the Grateful Dead classic penned by Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter.
