Next Thursday, February 15, Dead & Company kicks off what is expected to be a busy 2018 with their first ever Playing In The Sand destination event in Riviera Maya, Mexico. If you can’t make it to Mexico for three Dead & Company concerts on the beach, there’s an option to watch from home or wherever you have an internet connection.

As reported by Live For Live Music, all three D&C shows in Mexico will be webcast live via nugs.tv and livedead.co. Each webcast is available for pre-order individually or as a discounted bundle. The broadcasts can be viewed live or purchasers can view them on-demand. Dead & Company’s performances take place on Thursday, Friday and Sunday nights.

Dead & Company features guitarists Bob Weir and John Mayer, bassist Oteil Burbridge, keyboardist Jeff Chimenti and “The Rhythm Devils,” a.k.a. drummers Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann. The band first toured in Fall 2015 and then embarked on summer tours in 2016 and 2017. Last fall, Dead & Company nearly made it through their fourth tour, when Mayer had to undergo emergency surgery. The three concerts that were postponed will take place after Playing In The Sand, an event presented by CID Entertainment. Dead & Company will embark on a summer tour starting on May 30 in Mansfield, Massachusetts and running through a pair of gigs in Boulder on July 13 and 14.

As for now, the only Dead & Company shows on the books post-Summer Tour are a total of four sets at this August’s Lockn’ Festival in Arrington, Virginia.
