David Lee Roth announced plans for a 21-date U.S. tour spanning July through September 2025. The legendary rock vocalist will hit venues nationwide for his first trek since announcing his retirement from touring.
The news comes after Roth returned to stage on Saturday, May 3 to perform at the M3 Rock Festival in Columbia, Maryland. David Lee Roth had been off the road dating back to early 2020, when his time opening for KISS was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I am throwing in the shoes. I’m retiring,” Roth told the Las Vegas Review-Journal after announcing a final 2022 residency in Las Vegas. “This is the first, and only, official announcement. You’ve got the news. Share it with the world. I’m not going to explain the statement. The explanation is in the statement. These are my last five shows.” The pull was eventually pulled on the residency “due to unforeseen circumstances related to COVID and out of an abundance of caution for those working and attending the shows.”
