Next week accomplished singer-songwriter David Crosby will issue a new album entitled Sky Trails. NPR Music’s First Listen series has made the entire record available to stream in advance of its official release on Friday, September 29.
The follow-up to 2014’s Croz and 2016’s Lighthouse marks the third new album from the 76-year-old Crosby in as many years. Featuring 10 songs, songwriting credits on Sky Trails include Crosby’s son James Raymond, as well as Michael McDonald, Mai Egan and Becca Stevens.
Crosby will support Sky Trails with a tour planned for later this year. His supporting band will feature Raymond on keys, Egan on bass, Steve DiStanislao on drums, Jeff Pevar on guitar and Michelle Willis on keys and vocals.
