Dave Matthews Band Shares ‘Samurai Cop (Oh Joy Begin)’ Studio Single

Dave Matthews Band will soon issue their ninth studio album Come Tomorrow through RCA Records. The single “Samurai Cop (Oh Joy Begin)” has been made available in advance of the album’s June 8 release.

“Samurai Cop (Oh Joy Begin) was first performed live by DMB in May 2016. It’s one of 14 songs on the follow-up to 2012’s Away From The World. A variety of producers were selected by DMB to collaborate on Come Tomorrow, including John Alagia, Mark Batson, Rob Cavallo and Rob Evans. Recording sessions took place in Charlottesville, Seattle and Los Angeles. Guest vocalist Brandi Carlile contributed to the title track.

Dave Matthews Band will embark on an extensive tour in support of Come Tomorrow beginning on May 18. The tour will be the first without fiddler Boyd Tinsley.
