Dave Matthews Band this week revealed the 14-song tracklist for their upcoming studio album Come Tomorrow which is due out on June 8 via RCA Records. The lead single “Samurai Cop (Oh Joy Begin)” will be released next Friday, May 11.

That song is one of several on Come Tomorrow that Dave Matthews has previously performed live. This edition of Sunday Cinema previews more than half of Come Tomorrow with video footage of live versions of eight of the songs making up the follow-up to 2012’s Away From The World.

“That Girl Is You,” “She,” “bkdkdkdd,” “Come on Come On,” “When I’m Weary” and the title track “Come Tomorrow” have not been played live by DMB, Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds or Dave solo. The other songs have been played by one of those just mentioned configurations, as can be seen in the series of clips that follow.

Back on May 7, 2016, DMB performed at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Virginia in celebration of their 25th anniversary. That evening saw the live debuts of two songs that appear on Come Tomorrow, the upcoming single “Samurai Cop (Oh Joy Begin)” and “Again And Again.” The latter was originally called “Bob Law” and first played by Matthews alone on piano. “Can’t Stop” dates back to DMB’s 2006 Summer Tour. The at-times setlist staple has only been played by DMB once since 2015. This version features guest guitarist Gary Clark Jr. sitting-in with the band at Farm Bureau Live at Virginia Beach in Virginia Beach, Virginia on June 17, 2012. Watch the collaboration here:

The title to “Here On Out” was one of three (along with “Bismark” and “Bob Law”) that emerged following DMB studio sessions held in 2015. Mathews was a participant in the PBS special Live From Lincoln Center Joshua Bell: Seasons of Cuba with the renowned violinist Joshua Bell. A partial performance of “Here On Out” by Matthews, Bell and The Chamber Orchestra of Havana from November 1, 2016 can be seen below:

Another song dating back to Summer Tour 2006 is “Idea Of You,” which was made its debut on June 2, 2006 at the at-the-time named Verizon Wireless Music Center (Deer Creek) in Noblesville, Indiana. Pro-shot video shared by the band from their May 28, 2013 performance at Molson Canadian Amphitheatre in Toronto is here:

Matthews was behind a keyboard for the debut of “Virginia In The Rain.” The full band first-time offering came on June 12, 2015 at Xfinity Theatre in Hartford, Connecticut and it often showed up in setlists throughout that year. It’s since become a staple of Dave & Tim performances. Check out the debut from 2015 below:

A May 7, 2015 taping of Legends on Letterman at the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York City included the debut of “Black And Blue Bird.” Much like “Viriginia In The Rain,” it stayed in frequent rotation during the rest of DMB’s 2015 tours and has been picked up as a favorite of Dave & Tim. Here’s footage from August 29, 2015 at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Englewood, Colorado with Bela Fleck accompanying on banjo:

DMB has yet to fully perform “Do You Remember,” but during a show on May 25, 2012 in Hartford Matthews improvised lyrics that were later incorporated into the song. Dave & Tim premiered the completed version of the track at Farm Aid 2017. Watch both of those performances below:
