Dave Matthews Band Performs ‘Funny The Way It Is’ At Charlotte’s PNC Pavilion In 2019: Pro-Shot Video
The septet’s version of the ‘Big Whiskey & The GrooGrux King’ single was filmed on July 19, 2019 at a venue where the band will return later this month.

Dave Matthews Band are rolling out a series of professionally-shot videos from past runs as a “warm up” for their 2021 tour, which begins next Friday, July 23 in Raleigh, North Carolina. The latest clip features “Funny The Way It Is” from July 19, 2019 at PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte.
“Funny The Way It Is” was originally released by DMB as the first single from 2009’s Big Whiskey & The GrooGrux King. The band debuted the song live at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on April 14, 2009 and it has remained a staple of their concerts ever since.
